GIVEAWAY ☆ SORTEO

The other day I realized that my 2nd Blogaversary was two months ago and that I haven't celebrated it, that's why I'm doing now, never is too late!

El otro día me dí cuenta de que mi 2ª Blogaversario fue hace dos meses y que no lo he celebrado, por eso lo hago ahora, nunca es demasiado tarde!

The prize is Issue nº 638 of the magazine "Labores del Hogar", it's focused into crafts for baby's but I think they may have more uses, that depends of you... Although the magazine is written in spanish, charts for cross-stitch, crochet and knitting are easily understood by everybody, no matter what language you speak and if we have any doubts, nowadays I'm sure we all have a transalator nearby. If not, you can always write me to ask about the doubt, I bought the same issue for me so I will kindly answer your questions and give you the explanations in english or even french.

El premio es el nº 638 de la revista "Labores del Hogar", está centrada en labores para bebés pero creo que pueden tener más usos, depende de vosotras...

SUMMER GIVEAWAY // SORTEO DE VERANO

Last year I bought an embroidery frame. I was very excited with my purchase but when I got home and I assembled it I realised I was not going to use it because it's too big for me and I don't feel comfortable stitching with it.

Yesterday I was reminded of it, I took it out of the storage room and photographed it because I am going to give it away to one of you.

The gift was a bracelet of our choice. She asked me about my likes and dislikes to make the bracelet and, when the postman arrived with the parcel, this is what I found inside:

And her new creation: the bracelet-necklace. It is called like that because you can use it as a bracelet or as a necklace. You can see in the photo that she send me two different ribbons: one longer to use it as a necklace and a shorter one to use it as a bracelet!

Y su nueva creación: la pulsera-collar. Se llama así porque puedes usarlo como pulsera o como collar. Podéis ver en la foto que me mandó dos lazos diferentes: uno más largo para usarlo como collar y uno más corto para usarlo como pulsera!

This is the back of my wrist, you can see how the bracelet looks like when it is tied.

Este es el reverso de mi muñeca, podéis ver cómo queda la pulsera cuando está atada.

Teresa's Giveaway

Two weeks ago I won the give away from Teresa's blog: Teresa's Heartfelt Stitches.

Yesterday morning the postman brought the package home and after a long day of work I could finally got home and open it! First of all I want to show you the lovely envelope that Teresa chose:

Ayer por la mañana el cartero llevó el paquete a casa y después de un largo día de trabajo por fin pude llegar a casa y abrirlo! En primer lugar quiero enseñaros el bonito sobre que eligió Teresa:

  - A beautiful shopping bag with craft items (a pincushion, a bottle of glue, a skein of wool, a needle, scissors...) prints on the fronts and a lot of buttons printed on the sides and base. The handles are printed like if they were a measuring tape. It has also printed the inspiring words: "Craft, create & conserve".

I couldn't wait and I filled it with my fabrics, finished projects and WIPs (works in progress).

  - Una shopping bag preciosa con artículos de manualidades (un acerico, un bote de pegamento, una madeja de lana, una aguja, tijeras...) impresos en los frontales y muchos botones impresos en los laterales y la base. Los estampados de las asas imitan a una cinta métrica. También tiene impresas las inspiradoras palabras: "Elabora, crea y conserva".

No pude esperar y la llené con mis telas, proyectos acabados y PECs (proyectos en curso).

  - A pink & green towel with the word "spring" embroidered and a cute bird. You cannot appreciate it on the photo but it has purpurin on his wing.

  - Una toalla rosa y verde con la palabra "primavera" bordad y un simpático pajarito. No podéis apreciarlo en la foto pero tiene purpurina en su ala.

  - A reminder notes set which are perfect for me, I have several stick at home to remind me things and I also have them in my bag with shopping lists or things I want to do after work, dishes I want to cook... Everything I don't want to forget I write it on a post-it.

  - Un set de post-its que son perfectos para mi, tengo varios pegados por casa para recordarme cosas y también en mi bolso con listas de la compra o cosas que quiero hacer después de trabajar, platos que quiero cocinar... Todo lo que no quiero que se me olvida lo apunto en un post-it.

  - A fabulous set of pincushion and scissors cushionet made by her. They are a piece of art. I love them!! In the last photograph you can see the other face of them. I love the words she has stitched!

  - Un fabuloso set de acerico y buscatijeras hechos por ella. Son una pieza de arte. Me encanta! En la última pohoto podéis ver la otra cara. Me encantan las palabras que ha bordado!

  - A pair of little scissors.

  - Un par de tijeritas.

  - A box of sugar-free peppermints which are already into my bag. In the box  you can read "crafty girl". So cool!

  - Una caja de caramelos de menta sin azúcar que ya están dentro de mi bolso. En la caja se puede leer "chica mañosa". Es genial!

  - And a pair of chocolate easter eggs. Have I told you I love chocolate??

  - Y un par de huevos de pascua de chocolate. Os he dicho que me encanta el chocolate??

Thank you again Teresa for all the love that you put in this give away. I am delighted.
