I'm back again!! ☆ Ya estoy de vuelta!!

Can't believe I'm blogging again! Although I have been reading your blogs from time to time, I could not leave comments on them, I'm so sorry... But now I'm back and I have all the time in the world for cross stitching, blogging, reading and commenting!!

No puedo creerme que esté blogueando de nuevo! Aunque he estado leyendo vuestros blogs de vez en cuando, no he podido dejar comentarios en ellos, lo siento mucho... Pero ahora estoy de vuelta y tengo todo el tiempo del mundo para hacer punto de cruz, bloguear, leer y comentar!!


Before my long break I finished the Big Round Zipper but I will show you in the next post because today I want to GIVE THANKS:

Birthday gifts - Regalos de cumpleaños

These are the great gifts that my boyfriend's mother and his sister gave me for my birthday:

A wooden sewing box. It is unprocessed so I will have to paint it, what is double joy for me because I love painting and restoring objects!!

Un costurero de madera. Está sin elaborar así que tendré que pintarlo, lo que es una doble alegría para mí porque me encanta pintar y restaurar objetos!!

As you see, it has a lot of space for my sewing items. I will show you again when I have it painted and filled with my stuff.

Como véis, tiene mucho espacio para mis objetos de costura. Os lo volveré a enseñar cuando lo tenga pintado y lleno con mis cosas.

On Saturday I knew my partner for the swap and I'm stitching a lot to have the biscornu finished asap.

IKEA & last progress

On Saturday morning we went to Ikea and I bought this colorful fabric to cover my box. I found it curious that they sell fabric by weight and not per metres!

El Sábado por la mañana fuimos a Ikea y compré esta colorida tela para forrar mi caja. Encontré curioso que venden la tela por peso y no por metros!

And this is the last progress I show you because I'm about to finish it, you will see it next week.

New stash and progress

Yesterday morning I bought linen and a new set of needles, because the ones I have are too big and they are well for aida (14 count) but not for this linen which I think is 32 count.
I bought the linen for a project I have in mind for a long time so I know exactly what I will stitch on it the first, I don't know if I could wait until I finished my curren project.

Ayer por la mañana compré lino y un nuevo juego de agujas, porque las que tengo son demasiado grandes y están bien para aida (14 count) pero no para este lino que creo que es 32 count.
Compré el lino para un proyecto que tengo en mente desde hace mucho tiempo así que ya sé exactamente qué será lo primero que bordaré en él, no sé si podré esperar hasta que haya acabado mi actual proyecto.
