Thank's a lot McKenna!! I could finally stitch snowman's eyes with your recommendation: colonial knots, better for me than french knots.

Muchas gracias McKenna!! Al final pude hacer los ojos del muñeco de nieve con tu recomendación: nudos coloniales, mejores para mí que los nudos franceses.

I stitched a fabric with a Christmas print on the backing... (do you like my glitter nail polish?)

Cosí una tela con motivos navideños en la parte trasera... (¿os gusta mi pintauñas de purpurina?)

Glued to an adjustable ring base.

Aunque no tengo fotos, este anillo brilla en la oscuridad!

Snowflake Ring - Glow in the dark

In the previous post I showed you one of the two rings I have done. So, here is the second one.
It is hand sewn on Green Christmas Aida cloth and, like the other one, it glows in the dark!
It is sewn with Gold metallic thread and glow in the dark thread (DMC).
Finally, I stuck it to a strong silver-tone adjustable ring base.
It measures 7/8 inch (2.3 cm) wide.


En el post anterior os enseñé uno de los dos anillos que he hecho. Así que, aquí está el segundo.
Está cosido a mano en tela Aida color Verde Navidad y, como el otro, brilla en la oscuridad!
Está cosido con hilo metálico dorado e hilo que brilla en la oscuridad (DMC).
Finalmente, lo pegué a una base de anillo plateada ajustable y resistente.
Mide 7/8 inch (2.3 cm) de ancho.

It is sewn with Silver metallic thread and glow in the dark thread (DMC).
Finally, I stuck it to a strong silver-tone adjustable ring base.
Its size is 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide.


Hoy quiero enseñaros uno de los dos anillos que he hecho recientemente.
Está cosido a mano en tela Aida color Rojo Navidad y brilla en la oscuridad!
Está cosido con hilo metálico plateado e hilo que brilla en la oscuridad (DMC).
Finalmente, lo pegué a una base de anillo plateada ajustable y resistente.
Mide 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) de ancho.

Snowflake Earrings - Glow in the dark

They are my first creation.
They are hand sewn on Red Christmas Aida cloth and they glow in the dark!
They are sewn with gold metallic thread and glow in the dark thread (both of them DMC).
On the reverse is a surgical stainless steel post with butterfly fastening.
5/8 inch (1.6 cm) wide.


Son mi primera creación.
Están cosidos a mano en tela Aida de color Rojo Navideño y brillan en la oscuridad!
Están cosidos con hilo metálico dorado y con hilo que brilla en la oscuridad (ambos DMC).
En el reverso tienen un poste de acero quirúrgico con cierre de mariposa.
Miden 1,6 cm de ancho.

As my camera is very "basic", the quality of the photos is not as good as I would have like and it has been impossible for me to take a photo of them glowing in the dark, but I assure you the effect is fantastic. Do you like them?


Cómo mi cámara es muy "básica", la calidad de las fotos no es tan buena como me hubiera gustado y me ha sido imposible sacarles una foto brillando en la oscuridad, pero os aseguro que el efecto es fantástico. Os gustan?
